At Play
At Play is an ongoing project which began the summer of 2016 after I graduated from Bard College. I spent the summer babysitting for 3 families in the Hudson Valley and was inspired by the act of playing; with its layers of imagination, confidence, vulnerability, and occasional disappointment. In these moments of play, I was allowed to make believe and return to a state of curiosity in the simplest form. Spending time with children, we are faced with the challenge of the present moment. If you accept the challenge, you can be brought to a world far away from your own and into a child's fantasy. Their reality is as real as your own.
